Doctorate in Social Work (ISCTE-IUL, 2016) and which thesis received the Silva Leal award in 2017, from ISCTE-IUL. Professor in Higher Education since 1999, is currently Associate Professor at the Institute of Social Work of the Lusófona University and Researcher at CISIS. Director of the Master’s Degree in Social Work & Social Policy and of the Postgraduate Degree in Social Intervention in Enterprises. Author of several scientific publications in the areas of employment and unemployment, social policies, local development, intervention with children and youth at risk, professional skills and research and training in Social Work. She is also a member of the editorial board and reviewer of several national and international scientific journals.
