Degree in Social Work from Instituto Superior Miguel Torga of Coimbra. Master in Gerontology by the University of Aveiro and PhD in Gerontology by the University of Aveiro / Higher Institute Abel Salazar of Porto.
Worked professionally for several years as Technical Director in Social Solidarity Institutions in parallel with her teaching activities in Higher Education. Currently is an Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University in Social Work Dregree and the Master in Social Gerontology.
